I bought this for my mom. She is an avid reader, but is old school and refuses to switch to a Kindle. I wanted to give her something that made keeping track of what she has read easy and this journal is structured well in that regard. She seems to like it and now, instead of putting post-it notes on the front of the books with the information, she is able to keep the details all in once place.
I am somewhat disappointed with this diary. it is rather disjointed, and sections of items such as "books I've loaned out," are just kinda helter-skelter. There is not enough pages to really keep track of books for a avid reader, and is quite small.
When I got this book in the mail, I was really excited because I wante it to serve as place for me to keep track of the books I've been reading lately. The pictures, words, and quotes are beautiful. I love the size of the book. Some of the sections are a bit redundant though. Also I have no need to list books I want to read by subject, so I feel that that particular section is irrelevant. I was also hoping there would be more room for me to write a review about the book. Two lines is not sufficient enough, in my opinion. I also feel that only four pages isn't enough to write down favorite quotes from the books I've read. Overall the book serves its purpose of keeping tracks of the books I've read, I just wish they would've gotten rid of the redundant sections and replaced them with more ro for reviews of each book and quotes.
I bought this book because I love to read, and it seemed that this would be a nice adjunct for me. The book is even better than I had anticipated; it has everything a reader could want! I shared this with my neighbor who is in a book club, she bought one for everyone in the group! I would recommend this to all who love books. This book would be appreciated by all age groups. I am buying more for stocking stuffers for my children and grandchildren as well as my book loving friends.
I love the cover - it's was caught my eye. I was looking for a journal that only has pages to review books I have read. This has several sections, such as books borrowed/leant and want to read that I will never use.

My Mom is a voracious reader, but elderly, and she can't always remember the titles of the books she's read. Having this diary with her at the library has been a great aide. It also helps her remember the authors she likes best and the titles she's been wanting to read. Very nice.
My sister loves to read and keeps track of all the books she’s read plus make some notes about them she asked belongs to a book club so this book is perfect for her. I was excited to give it to her
