I am only a few days into using this book but finding so many things to appreciate about it. As the author mentions in the first few pages, I can see many ways to use this format. Her suggestions are great! What has worked personally for me (a rambling sort of journaler) is to use this book for guided prayer and notes before I write my prayers in my composition notebook. Being able to jot notes on the pages is an excellent reminder of things I know I need to pray about, but often forget in practice. I tend to get caught up in prayers for the urgent or immediate needs of my own. The repeated categories of this journal don't replace my personal prayers, but they serve me as a guide to make sure I am praying for so many areas that are vital but often overlooked in prayer. Also, by using Bible verses to guide prayer, the book helps ensure that I am praying God's will. I can see that the book will be helpful even after I have filled every page, because I will be able to look back and see places that God has answered prayers, and can even go back through each section and keep on praying for those items still needing an answer. I REALLY love the scripture memory help at the bottom of each column. What a lovely practice to combine prayer and scripture memory to anchor the Scripture in my mind and in my heart!
I received Praying Through Scripture A Woman's Journal about a week ago and have already loved using it. The prayer topic starters are very helpful because they encourage me to think outside myself and my immediate needs. This really helps me think through and pray about the people and situations around me that I intend to cover in prayer but that seem to get lost in the busyness of the day. There is just enough journal space for each topic to write a few notes each day. The scripture prompts are well chosen and have already helped me to pray scripture over several friends going through tough times. One unexpected perk of the journal is the scripture memory letters at the bottom of each page. I absolutely LOVE these! I found myself saying familiar scripture that I had not already memorized by looking at the letters. With this handy tool, I know I can memorize all the scriptures in the journal and even use the method on other scriptures I would like to memorize. Thanks so much for an excellent prayer guide and journal!

I started using this book as my 2018 prayer journal. I love the format and how easy it is to use. I feel like the format will be really easy to look back at the growth I have made in the year, and to see how God has answered prayers. I also really like the page at the end of each segment that allows you to journal freely. Some weeks I really need a lot of space and other weeks the space provided under the prompts is just perfect. I would recommend this book to anyone who needs a little help organizing their thoughts and prayers to really see where God is leading them.
