I very rarely write reviews for the things I buy on amazon but I feel compelled to give a testimony to this text and to the author. I've spent so much money (the irony) trying to get to the root of my financial hangups to no avail yet this book started to unblock my limiting beliefs 26 pages in. The key to unlocking your earning potential is in two things: how you do money is you do everything AND master money (energy) and you can master life. No more scattered energy and anxiety.If you've ever done any spiritual work and buy this book, you'll know very quickly that the author is onto the truth. I hope it helps you like it's helped me! Perhaps I could have given this book five stars as it is an exceptional read. I thoroughly enjoyed taking my time navigating the information and exercises. It's important to do the exercises, and you'll see why. As time passes doing the exercises reveal a great deal about who you are and where your energy (not just money related) is. I found the read enlightening. I've already incorporated some things, and I'm definitely more mindful as a result of the read. There's gratitude for sure. The book has a very holistic approach to discovering your money-nature by speaking to far more than money. All things are connected and the book does a wonderful job at making the connections outside of money. If you're looking to be inspired as well as to make changes that will not only enhance your money energy, but will enhance your overall well being, and life energy, read it! Enjoy the changes that come with being in the flow.
Overall, this is a well written and structured book. It would have been more effective had it been shorter. I spent 1.5 years reading books about money. Like so many, I have wasted more of it than I care to recount. Initially, when I started my money journey I read 3 spiritual books including this one. Recently, I went back to review my money journal. I realized quickly that the spiritual books made me "feel" good and gave me hope, but did not provided practical money management tools. The paradigm shifting activity in this book was writing about my first memories of money and how they correlated to my money attitude. For those who are interested, I will suggest you read "Your Money or Life" and The 21-day Financial Fast. I will admit, the Financial Fast book is written from a Christian perspective and was at times cringe worthy, but the premise of the book is powerful. If you want to get to the root of your money issues try not spending any for 21-days. That book in particular caused me to endure some serious self-reflection and self-directed analysis.
This book continues to be a source of ease and joy in my life. The seeds that were planted while reading it and attending a book study on it remain some of the most powerful game changers in how I choose to use my energy. We have the power to choose to free up energy in any form which allows us to have more energy to put into the things we want rather than wasting it away on what is in front of us causing pain or suffering. Amazing book and work from Maria Nemeth.
If you are a spiritual person this book is for you. It takes the principles of spirituality and directly applies them to money. It is dense but well-written. It is a wonderful compliment to anyone's spiritual practice. I'm so grateful to have read this book. In all fairness, this book has little to do with money, but instead reminds you of your spirit so you can directly apply those principles to your cash. Lovely. Sophisticated read.
The author elucidates the many dilemmas that money hold for us; turns out very few of us know if we have enough or not enough. It's been a huge relief to know that I am not alone in vacillating between the terror of not having enough and the overexuberance of thinking I am wealthy beyond measure. (I'm not, it turns out!)The book, is clear, straightforward, and written to be read by anyone who has money in a bank.
It’s never the i late to read this classic. But if you are young and just starting out, you should definitely read it now. Once you change your attitude about this powerful exchange medium called money, you just may be able to control it for your own good. It worked for me when I first listened to the audio version of it back in the 1990s. This was my second purchase.
