Great book for a parent at any skill level with a child interested in wood working. I will be teaching woodworking at a school for the arts. I picked out 10 projects from this book. Great pictures and plans, and inspiration for other projects.

Not sure what I was expecting, but I felt a little disappointed in many of the project ideas. They are "Easy" as stated, but most were a little too simple or unspecial for my tastes. This would probably be good for someone just starting out in woodworking. l wanted projects that weren't too involved... that could be done in two or three days, but that would utilize more of my skills and tool collection. I'm finding more of that on the internet now that I've done more searching.

Awesome projects for beginners to experts. Several people have thumbed through it and 'dog tagged' projects they want me to make for them. Would have given 5 stars but some of the projects plans are kind of hard to follow what the author is attempting to convey.

I have a lot of woodworking books, and I have other books with multiple woodworking projects in them. But usually there are very few items that are appealing enough to actually build. This book has so many different types of projects that are of varying difficulty, that I would surprized if you don't find half a dozen that you like. The layout of the book is superb and the author give a brief history behind each project. There are excelllent illustrations, materials lists and exploded views of every one. I highly recommend this book.

This book has many fast and easy things to build in one day or maybe two.Very basic and easy to follow ideas,most anyone can do.There was things in the book you can have your young wood worker help you with.

Having a small shop I purchased thisHoping for some nice, doable projects. And many are, but out of the many projects only 40ish are quality. Most are purely decorate, require specialty tools, or are way harder than I'm willing. Otherwise good book though

Hard to understand. I did nothing of those since the measures are not clear and the drawing are limited.
